Introduction

VentureTECH is an investment company based in Malaysia, focused on building partnerships in high-value and emerging industries. The company required a corporate book to present its investment direction, investment portfolio and partner relationships in a publication format.

The publication needed to communicate corporate stature and a forward-looking outlook while documenting achievements across the portfolio. Walk Production was appointed to deliver the corporate book covering art direction, design, graphic production and printing.

Art direction and corporate book design

The creative direction adopted an image-driven, minimalist approach that reflects VentureTECH’s positioning. A refined brand colour system and clean typographic palette were developed for the book. The visual framework communicates credibility and the forward-looking outlook the brand is built around.

The layout guides readers through key messaging, partner profiles and portfolio highlights. Each section was designed to flow into the next while keeping a distinct visual treatment. Strong photography and white space carry through the book.

Graphic design and visual communication

The design team developed graphics to support the publication’s narrative across its sections. Data visualisations, charts and infographic layouts present investment themes, portfolio summaries and corporate milestones in a visual format that reads alongside the body copy.

Visual treatments for partner profiles and portfolio company features kept design consistency across the book. Each entry communicates its value proposition while reinforcing VentureTECH’s positioning as an investment partner.

Print production was managed to deliver a publication suited to VentureTECH’s stakeholder audience. Paper stock selection, binding specifications and surface finishing were coordinated to give the book a tactile quality consistent with its purpose.
