Introduction

Cradle Fund is an organisation based in Malaysia, working to develop the Malaysian startup ecosystem through funding and support programmes. The organisation commissioned a publication documenting its Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP). The format needed to convey the seriousness of governance commitments while remaining accessible as a working reference document.

Walk Production delivered the print production process along with desktop research, copywriting and project management. The publication supports Cradle’s integrity framework and compliance communication to staff and stakeholders.

Our Solutions

Concept development and research

The design concept reflects the gravity of anti-corruption governance while avoiding the dry, impersonal tone that often characterises compliance documents. Clean layouts communicate institutional seriousness without making the document feel purely regulatory. That distinction matters for an organisation that works within the creative startup ecosystem.

Desktop research on anti-corruption and bribery topics informed both the content structure and the visual approach. Benchmarking with other organisations provided context for how the framework should be positioned.

Layout design and graphic production

The editorial design system organises the OACP framework into navigable sections covering policy statements, implementation procedures, reporting mechanisms and stakeholder commitments. Framework components are presented as structured diagrams rather than lengthy procedural text.

The publication’s format gives it a physical presence that differentiates it from standard corporate documents. Visual aids built through purposeful infographic design reinforce the publication’s role as a governance statement.

Copywriting, project management and delivery

The editorial content team developed the content with a focus on clarity and precision. Anti-corruption frameworks require exact language. The copywriting balances legal accuracy with readability, so governance commitments are accessible to staff regardless of their familiarity with compliance terminology.

Project management coordinated the production timeline from initial briefing through design iterations, content reviews and print delivery. The structured workflow kept all phases aligned with Cradle’s internal review process and distribution schedule for key stakeholders.

The Results

The OACP publication gives Cradle Fund a governance document that communicates institutional commitment to anti-corruption standards. The accessible design approach means the document functions as both a policy declaration and a practical staff reference.

The production quality positions the publication as an important organisational document, reinforcing the weight of Cradle’s integrity framework for stakeholders.

Why did Cradle Fund commission a publication for the OACP rather than a standard PDF?

A standard PDF reads as one of many compliance documents. A designed publication is a governance statement: it carries the weight of the framework into the physical space staff and stakeholders work in. For a fund that operates within the creative startup ecosystem, the publication format also keeps the document from reading as a dry regulatory artefact.

What sits inside the Cradle OACP publication?

The publication covers policy statements, implementation procedures, reporting mechanisms and stakeholder commitments, with framework components presented as structured diagrams rather than long procedural text. The structure works as both a one-time read and a working reference document.

Why pair editorial design with infographic design for a governance publication?

Editorial design gives the publication a navigable structure: sections, hierarchy, layout that supports a one-time read. Infographic design carries the framework components visually, which is what stops the document from collapsing into pages of legal-style copy. Together they keep the publication readable while the governance content stays exact.

What did Walk Production’s research add to the Cradle OACP project?

Desktop research on anti-corruption and bribery topics, plus benchmarking with how other organisations have positioned their frameworks. The research informed both how the content was structured and how the visual approach reads against peer documents in the same governance space.

How is the Cradle OACP publication being used?

As a governance statement to staff and stakeholders, and as a practical reference document staff can pick up and use day-to-day. The publication serves both communication and reference roles in one document, which is what the brief asked for.
